Mpuluzi High School, 2006.

As indicated above, I completed my metric in 2006 by then the wen't that much  I.C.T technologies in my school. But we did have a computer lab, which had 25 Computers. Therefore if one wanted to learn how to use a computer you had to pay a monthly fee. I think the reason for having to pay this fee, was because learning Computer technologies was not part of the curriculum and the few learners who did computer where perceived as the elite.

I would describe Mpuluzi as a school which is committed to teaching, this is however re-forced also by our slogan which is "Mpuluzi The Rise of The Nation". The mentioned slogan is rudimentary to the schools culture and traditional, one of the policies which I still remember deeply is: No one is suppose to enter the school premises if he/she is late. Most of the teachers where very strict about late comers, if you by chance, did arrived late, you were requested to bring your parent or guardian. That's how s strict they were about late comers, however this policy also helped to instill that sense of consciousness to maintaining time. I do also remember vividly how we used to dress, on Mondays&Tuesdays the boys would wear white T-shirt, grey trouser and with a pull-over and a jersey; the girl's attired would be a white T-shirt, black skirt. We used to to change the  type of uniform on Wednesday&Thursday the boys would clad a  gold T-shirt, black trousers and with a pull-over or jersey. Then on Fridays our attire was the same as the one clad Mondays&Tuesday.

Our School has its unique cultures and traditions, on Wednesday it was  deemed sports and recreation day. Therefore each leaner had to to participate in sports or performing arts. The used to be singing, dance and drama. I can still recall the choral choir which was our pride, because it worn local and regional choir choral competitions. On Mondays we used to be joyous when they would ascend the platform, in front of the assemble of learners to give us a hint of their wonderful choral music. Their successes was a results of teachers who worked to gather to fulfill the common interest of the school, which is really to uplift the nation and create a community of learners who will  excel in whatever universities the'll be in. This is however true because most the learners who metricated at Mpuluzi High School have journeyed to become prominent people, in the education, Health and engineering sector's of our country.

It is therefore universal acceptable that a school should be judged on the merits of its learners,  if this so, then Mpuluzi high School for me personal, is the best school in the whole Gerd Sibande region. in 2013 Mpuluzi High School  achieved an 85% pass rate in both Mathematics&Physical science and is among the seven Schools in the Gert Sibande regions which performed exceptional well in Mathematics&Physical science.
